🕒Time Taken2 hours

1. Damage Assessment

The damage was concentrated around the rear left bumper corner, with black transfer marks, surface scuffs and scratches through the white finish. The bumper shape and parking sensor were intact, so the affected area was suitable for a focused mobile repair at the customer’s home in Stalybridge. Before preparation began, we checked the damage and protected the surrounding bodywork.

Our mobile bumper repairs in Tameside cover Stalybridge and the surrounding area.

For wider repair options, see mobile car body repairs in Tameside or mobile car body repairs in Manchester.

2. Repair in Progress

The damaged bumper corner was cleaned and carefully sanded to remove the scuffing and create a stable edge around the affected paint. We refined the surface before applying Sikkens UV primer, which provided an even base for the colour stage. The original Vauxhall paint code EPR was then matched and applied to the prepared section, followed by clear coat to restore the gloss and protection. Working locally on the corner kept the repair controlled and allowed the Vivaro to remain at the customer’s home throughout the two hour appointment.

3. Finished Repair

The completed repair restored a clean, consistent finish across the rear left bumper corner. The scuffs and dark transfer are no longer visible, the EPR white matches the surrounding bumper and the parking sensor remains neatly integrated. From arrival to completion, the mobile repair took approximately two hours at the customer’s home in SK15, Stalybridge.

Had my son's car scratch repaired today on bumper and trim. Dean repaired the damage and did a brilliant job. Wouldn't even know there used to be a large scratch there. Would certainly use again but hopefully he won't scratch his car any time soon.

Outstanding job… brilliant communication from start to finish… Absolutely amazing work on my wheels.. I thought I’d have to buy all new, they were really badly chewed up round the rims! Had the 4 wheels done at my home which was so convenient. They look like brand new… I’m super impressed & VERY pleased with the results too. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company 1000% Photo doesn’t do the refurbish justice…. This photo was taken unwashed!

Would highly, highly recommend this company for any paint repairs. I damaged the paintwork on the front of my car and due to the colour of the car I was a bit worried how this would turn out. I filled out the online form on their website and attached photos of the damage, this took no longer than 5 minutes. Within 30 minutes I was given a reasonable quote and I was booked in for the following morning. The service through out has been amazing and really professional. The job took place at home and overall took around an hour and you would never know it had been repaired. I am genuinely so pleased with the outcome! Thank you!

Recommend to anyone looking for a repair. Woke up to a big scratch on my car a few weeks back with no idea how it happened so I went to get a few quotes to repair it. Was given some crazy prices and timescales until I went to DJ auto repair who quoted a very reasonable price and had the repair done in a few hours. You would never know it happened now. 10/10 service

DJ Smart Repairs were brilliant. The service I received was first class, and so reasonably priced too. Jay, the mechanic did a wonderful job of eracing a scratch to the bumper area of my car, and it's now back to it's shiny new best. A big thank you! Linda 😊

Great repair. Looks as good as new and was better priced and faster than quoted from an alternative. Would definitely recommend, attached some before and afters. Very hard to tell where the paint was resprayed and arguably a better finish than from factory.

DJ Auto Body Repair re-sprayed my the front bumper on my 2012 Honda Civic. This was pearlesent white & to match the colour, being the car is a number of years old, wouldn't have been easy, but, they did a great job with it & I was very pleased & satisfied with the standard of their work. They are also professional & polite. Highly recommended!

Excellent service. THe two passenger side doors that were scratched look like they did the day I bought the car. All work was done on my driveway under a collapsible ‘marquis’ during a very wet day. I would deffo use Dean again.

Perfect job, had a jag in for a whole door repair, scratched and dented through the paint, they fixed it within the next day ready for collection. Very reasonable and competitive price in Manchester, and colour match spot on which is usually the main worry. Definitely will be going again for anything else. Aziz.

Contacted via their website and Jay arrived the next day. Gave me a price to remove some minor scratches. Both via buffing and re-spraying, if that didn't work. Both prices seemed reasonable. In the end buffing did the trick. I would definitely use them again

So happy I found this company on line! I requested their mobile service. Prompt responses to my initial enquiries and finally offered a very acceptable quotation. Short delay to be fitted in for the job but actually I had two weeks when I wasn't available anyway so it suited. The gentleman arrived promptly (bit early actually) and set to work on my driveway. No fuss, just got on with the job. Three and a half hours later, I couldn't tell that there had ever been an issue! Fantastic job, left my car as good as new with a perfect finish! Will use them again if necessary AND highly recommend!

I was preparing myself for visible signs of where the repair was made, but to my surprise... there was none and for a second I thought the technician just installed a brand new bumper... the surface is clean, smooth and paint blended in perfectly, couldn't be more happier. Great Job!!
