4. When information is required
Some information is necessary for us to provide a quotation, arrange a mobile visit, complete a repair, take payment or meet our legal obligations.
You do not have to provide personal information. However, if you do not provide information that is reasonably necessary, we may be unable to provide a quotation, accept a booking or carry out the requested service.

Our website may use a form or customer-management service provided through LeadConnector/HighLevel. Information submitted through an embedded form may be processed by that provider on our behalf.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Finance applications
Finance is provided by Payment Assist Ltd, not by Dean Seville or DJ Auto Body Repair.
If you request finance, information may be passed to Payment Assist so that it can assess and administer your application. Payment Assist may act as a separate data controller and may carry out its own identity, fraud-prevention, affordability or eligibility checks.
You should read Payment Assist’s privacy information before submitting an application. Any finance decision made by Payment Assist is governed by its own terms, privacy policy and decision-making procedures.
DJ Auto Body Repair does not make solely automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Some technology, communications, analytics or customer-management providers may process information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that an appropriate legal safeguard is used. This may include UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved contractual clauses or another safeguard permitted by data protection law.
You may contact us for further information about safeguards applying to your information.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, warranty and dispute-resolution requirements.
As a general guide:
- unsuccessful or unaccepted quotation enquiries and associated photographs may be retained for up to 24 months after the last contact;
- customer, repair, invoice and payment records may be retained for up to six years after the end of the relevant financial year;
- repair photographs and warranty records may be retained for the warranty period and for a reasonable period afterwards in case a claim or dispute arises;
- complaint and legal-claim records may be kept until the relevant legal limitation period has expired;
- marketing information is kept until you unsubscribe or object, after which limited information may be retained on a suppression list so that we respect your preference; and
- cookie and analytics information is retained according to the relevant cookie or service setting.
We may retain information for longer where this is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim or where the law requires it.
9. Marketing
We may occasionally contact existing or prospective customers about our services where you have consented or where the law otherwise permits us to do so.
You can stop marketing communications at any time by:
- using an unsubscribe option in the message;
- replying and asking us to stop; or
- contacting us using the details in section 1.
Stopping marketing will not prevent us from sending service-related communications about an existing quotation, booking, repair, payment or warranty.
10. Cookies and website analytics

Our website may use:
- Strictly necessary cookies, which are required for the website and its forms to operate;
