Mobile Front Wing Dent Repair on a Dacia Duster in SK4, Stockport

This Dacia Duster had a concentrated dent in the passenger side front wing, immediately above the headlight where a change in shape is easy to notice in reflected light. We carried out this mobile repair on the customer’s driveway in SK4, Stockport. From reshaping the metal to applying the KQM matched to the original colour finish, the work was completed in approximately three hours.

1. How the Dent Distorted the Wing

The first photograph shows how the indentation interrupted the front wing’s natural curve above the passenger side headlight. Because this area sits beside the bonnet edge and lamp, an uneven contour would remain visible even after painting. We therefore checked the dent from several angles and identified the original panel line before beginning the metalwork.

2. Rebuilding the Contour and Priming

After the low area had been worked back towards its original shape, U-POL Fantastic body filler was applied only where needed and sanded to reproduce the wing’s curve into the headlight edge. The second photograph records the repair after Sikkens UV primer had been applied. This primer isolated the repaired area and provided a consistent foundation for the colour stage.

3. Matching Dacia Paint Code KQM

The refinishing stage used Dacia paint code KQM. Colour and clear coat were applied to restore the green finish while retaining a natural transition across the wing. In the final photograph, the sharp distortion visible above the headlight has gone and the reflected lines flow evenly across the repaired section.

Had my son's car scratch repaired today on bumper and trim. Dean repaired the damage and did a brilliant job. Wouldn't even know there used to be a large scratch there. Would certainly use again but hopefully he won't scratch his car any time soon.

Would highly, highly recommend this company for any paint repairs. I damaged the paintwork on the front of my car and due to the colour of the car I was a bit worried how this would turn out. I filled out the online form on their website and attached photos of the damage, this took no longer than 5 minutes. Within 30 minutes I was given a reasonable quote and I was booked in for the following morning. The service through out has been amazing and really professional. Great repair. Looks as good as new and was better priced and faster than quoted from an alternative. Would definitely recommend, attached some before and afters. Very hard to tell where the paint was resprayed and arguably a better finish than from factory.

Excellent service. THe two passenger side doors that were scratched look like they did the day I bought the car. All work was done on my driveway under a collapsible ‘marquis’ during a very wet day. I would deffo use Dean again.

Contacted via their website and Jay arrived the next day. Gave me a price to remove some minor scratches. Both via buffing and re-spraying, if that didn't work. Both prices seemed reasonable. In the end buffing did the trick. I would definitely use them again

So happy I found this company on line! I requested their mobile service. Prompt responses to my initial enquiries and finally offered a very acceptable quotation. Short delay to be fitted in for the job but actually I had two weeks when I wasn't available anyway so it suited. The gentleman arrived promptly (bit early actually) and set to work on my driveway. No fuss, just got on with the job. Three and a half hours later, I couldn't tell that there had ever been an issue! Fantastic job, left my car as good as new with a perfect finish! Will use them again if necessary AND highly recommend!
